We visited Naples twice, once in 2020 and again in 2025. During both visits, we came to this pizzeria for a great experience. The prices are very reasonable, the pizza is perfect, and the service is nice as well! We even ordered the same pizzas again on our second visit

Surprisingly our favourite pizza from our Europe holiday! We had just arrived in Naples and San Gennaro Pizzeria was the first pizza place we saw from stepping out of our Airbnb. It was a late lunch however service was quick and the pizza was the best we had on our trip. Good espresso afterwards as well, highly recommend visiting if you’re nearby and craving some classic Italian pizza!

We got a Pizza Diavola and some Crochets for takeaway. The service was really friendly, and we waited for our pizza in the bar on the opposite side of the street. Once our order was done, we received an amazingly tasting neapolitan pizza. The spicy sausage tasted great, and the "bottom" of the pizza was perfect! Top notch pizza, the best pizza tried in Naples. It’s crispy yet chewy, cheese is so fresh. A small restaurant but much better r than some highly reviewed pizza restaurant.

We had some lovely pizza on the go from this place. The flavours are great! You wait a little as they make it for you on order, which is probably the greatest thing about it. Definitely recommend the pizza portafoglio margherita and primavera (the two we have tried)
